Inside the table, an insert to safely hold glassware, food, and drink when folded and on the move. The telescoping legs ensure stability on varying surfaces and terrain, and makes the table a great versatile place for people to gather, after all, the table is probably the most prolific of gathering places. The idea behind making a table portable, is to change a space through the simple addition of something seemingly mundane and taken for granted, but very much used. The table can transform a space from an empty, open, centerless space, to somewhere with a focal point, an area with a concentration that people can tangibly attract towards. The table is an object that draws people in, and creates a community around it, a place to share conversation, stories, food, drink, practically anything.
